The Sea of Wisdom

I sketched a picture nation

Deep into the sand.

Stones and shells, for boundaries,

Protected pebble civilization from

The infinite beach universe.

No longer fearing the unknown,

Secure in the comfort of smallness,

The Sea of Wisdom

Quite unexpectedly

Unleashed full tide,

And pride was washed away.
