Where is the light to help show me the way
As I walk alone without you today
Walk in the night and think back on the day
When we promised our love would not go away.
Your light and your love has now turned to dark.
A cold wind whispers to me your remark:
Well no longer share the same, safe ark.
Your distrust extinguished all of my spark.
I must now walk in the dark of this long night
Wondering what I said that was not right.
Wondering why deep inside me I fight
Wanting to call you, or at least to write.
So I walk the night, and I reminisce,
Thinking of all the things I shall miss
Your laughter spirit and
much more than this
The warmth and love that we sealed with a kiss.
